Many people in the world live in regimes that mete out harsh punishments for advocating unsanctioned views. Platformer should make it possible to express opinions and commit to changes without fear of identification or reprisal. It will be necessary to guarantee that no personal data can be retrieved without the active, willing participation of the owner of that data. Despite the fact that data will be stored in a distributed, dynamic fashion across the network of Platformer nodes, no one should ever be able to reassemble private data that does not belong to them. What is more, an individual should be able to wipe his or her personal data from the system at any time and leave no residue.
